A few years back, I watched this local factory burn for hours and hours, causing extreme damage to the building. Afterwards, I just assumed the city would have torn it down. While looking at an aerial map for a nearby location, I spotted the charred remains of this building. I went down to check it out for myself. A few minutes into the building, a neighbor popped his head in, and nicely asked me to leave, stating the property has been being hit by scrappers ever since the fire. I did as he asked, since he was a nice guy, and left with a handshake. These four shot are all I got before I left.

The Vanishing Car Boneyard
I don't know much about this place, aside form the fact it's an old, abandoned car dump. Back in 2007 when I first visited it, and even as recent as the beginning of 2012 when I revisited there were somewhere around a dozen classic cars scattered
about a small section of some local woods. There were at
least 5 collapsed sheds and what looked like another collapsed garage. Now, there are 4 cars, and multiple piles of rubble where sheds and garages used to sit before collapsing in on themselves.
I don't know who's been taking the cars out, but if it weren't for my old sets, I'd have never even known they were there.

Here's the set from my first visit in 2007:
And the set from my revisit in the beginning of 2012:
It wont be long until there's nothing left but piles of brick and wood.

Magazines From My Past
This is a set I lost years and years ago, after never uploading it to my site before my old computer crashed. I just found them on an old Photobucket, so I decided to finally post them. The house these magazines were located in was torn down just days after I took these photos. Had I known they were tearing her down, I'd have just taken the magazines with me. I'm sure they were just demolished with the rest of the structure.
